New Kitchen ExtensionMartin and Sharon, Rhayader
On our first meeting with Adam to talk through our project of a kitchen extension, new decking area and complete refurbishment of our bungalow, we both felt from the onset that Adam was upfront, honest and approachable. After booking James Morton Cook Construction to do our work a site visit was also completed before the work commenced by Adam and Chris. Throughout the work Adam, Steve, Chris and Ian were polite, friendly, hard working, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. They treated our renovation as if it were their own. In fact the whole team were genuinely nice people and although we were pleased when the project was finished we were sad to see them go as they felt like part of the family by the end of it. They were on site at 8am sharp and worked hard all day. They were reliable and always came when they said they would and we were kept informed of days when they were not with us. The work was outstanding and to a very high standard. The site was kept clean and tidy and was always tidied up at the end of the day. Communication was excellent before and throughout the project. When a decision was needed or an issue did arise, we were guided through the options and choices available to us. We were always kept informed and consulted at all stages of the project. They brought in their trusted plumber and electrician, which meant they would do the organising and chasing around to get the trades on site at the right time. making the project as stress free for us as possible. Even when the project was complete they were on hand to answer any questions, chase building regulations for us and they came back to do some snagging without any questions or hesitation. We are delighted with the finished results and how our bungalow has been transformed. Adam, Steve and Chris were the professionals redesigning and refurbishing the ground floor of our Edwardian house. This involved taking large parts of the house back to bare brick and partly no roof, then transforming into a lovely modern, warm space for modern living, without disrupting the period features found in much of the house. They also landscaped some of the garden to complete a beautiful living space in and out of the communal living area. They were more than just builders and carpenters. They made the architects plans work and altered things to make improvements. They were totally reliable and in my view very hard working. They made having construction in our home for a number of months actually quite pleasurable. I would definitely use them again.
